Digital Readout Test

In order to monitor and further develop the interpretation of histological staining, QuIP is working on the concept of online tests where participants are provided with a defined number of scanned sample preparations to interpret. These readout tests should give pathologists the opportunity to check their level of knowledge. Feedback to their interpretation will be provided in the form of annotations within a short timeframe. 

The concept of analogous readout tests was proven successful in the Mammary Carcinoma proficiency tests. The step towards digitalization of readout tests enables individualized participation with less time constraints. A format for PD-L1 scoring will be developed first and launched in 2022. We are also planning to include parts of the Mammary Carcinoma proficiency tests, e.g. Ki-67 scoring, in the next stage of the online digital readout test.
